Improve Your Auctions |
 |

Here are a few tips to help you improve your auctions and make more of LatePlaces.com
Pick the right Categories Making sure your auction shows up in the right categories is crucial. If I am looking to buy a course on "Team Management" odds are I won't be looking under the "First Aid" category for it. If you need to list it in 2 categories then do it, it's not like it costs extra. Heck you might even want to spend a whole pound and make it a featured auction. :-)
Quality Content Put good relevant information in the course overview, and make it easy to read with a nice layout. Sure you can use some HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), to tweak the layout a bit or make something stand out but be tasteful. If you overdo it you may have exactly the opposite effect your aiming for leaving the page looking garish, hard to read and generally overwhelming.
Cheque yor spelling It is always worth taking a few seconds to spell check your course description. You'd be amazed how many people don't and how unprofessional it can look.
Sell it, but stick to the truth Make it sound attractive, but don't promise to do something you don't do. Not only is it fraud, but it will only come out in the reputation ratings and feedback, and if we get regular complaints can potentially get you banned from the site.
Stay Involved Potential delegates may have questions about your course, and being prompt with answers and support is very reassuring for them, and more likely to get you a good price and reputation.
Use Relevant Photos At the very least include your company logo, but if you have nice facilities why not include a photo or two. A photo is worth a thousand words and can be very reassuring. Don't use stock photography though, it will likely be recognised anyway and once the first few delegates attend, your feedback comments will say it all.
Do a bit of research What are similar sellers asking? If they have a "Buy Now" price what is it?
